A letter of agreement is a contract between a client and an architect, so if for whatever reason the client pulls out then the architect will get compensation. In the contract is usually an explanation of the building, what the local residents think, who the writer of the document is and what will be included in the project. The letter needs to be signed so that permission has been granted to start construction, it must be returned to the architect so that he could claim compensation if the client pulls out.

Dear Client,
This letter is to clarify the proposal of a sixth form on the field of Philips high school .I am the active architect on the site. The field is of a rectangular shape of approximately 181m x 162m enclosed from the south and the east by Whitefield Golf Club, on the west Park lane a main road and to the north is Philips High School.
I aim to design a Sixth Form College, the name is undisclosed, but the local residents seem excited to see the finished building, which will be completed by July 2018.The sixth form will consist of 22 classrooms per floor, with 2 floors meaning the sixth form will have 44 classrooms. The building will also have a con-joined sports centre filled with gym, outdoor football astro-turf pitches and basketball courts.
We need to meet to agree a budget so we can get to work on this project if we are to meet the deadline. I propose we meet on the January 14th 2017 to disclose a specific budget. I am excited for my role as an architect, this will be my fourth building, and all of the previous buildings were a complete success I am happy to say.
The education centre will provide education for pupils that have just left high school. The Sixth From will provide educational needs for any pupil for any subject they have chosen. For the site to be completed a number of things will be needed:
Throughout the project a will complete a site survey, an analysis and full check up on the selected site. Research on the project to see exactly how successful the Sixth Form has been. All the design proposals, presented at the meeting on the set budget, were all included in the final outcome of the building. I believe the building will be feasible as it is next to an estate, a high school and a golf course.
I will produce a full, complete 3D Revit design on the proposed sixth form. I will present the design to you when we meet to decide on the budget.
I invite you to agree to my proposal and allow a construction of a Sixth Form College to enable young adults take the next step to their lives of hard work and dedication to become the people of the future. Nothing in this letter of agreement has been left of. If you give permission please sign here:
